Voewood is one of three butterfly houses in Norfolk so called because of a central body and wings. The house is south facing and designed to let in the maximum amount of light. Built by E S Prior for the Rev Percy Lloyd between 1903 and 1905, the house combined concrete, flint and stone in rich profusion to decorate one of the finest examples of houses of the Arts & Crafts movement.
