HOW LONG DOES WEEKEND HIRE LAST?
Check-in for weekend weddings is at midday on Friday and check-out is at 2 pm on Sunday.
HOW LONG DOES MID-WEEK HIRE LAST?
Mid-week wedding hire at Voewood runs from midday on Tuesday to midday on Thursday.
CAN I USE MY OWN CATERER?
Yes! There’s no pressure to use our recommended suppliers. Choose caterers and suppliers to suit your unique vision. However, there will be a small charge for hiring your own caterers.
Do you charge corkage?
There is no corkage charge for weddings at Voewood.
How many people does voewood accommodate?
The house sleeps 42 people in 17 bedrooms, including two dormitories.
Is Voewood licensed for civil ceremonies?
Yes, Voewood has three rooms inside, The Music Room, Dining Room and Main Hall to accommodate up to 120 guests. Outside, there are several locations in the beautiful gardens and grounds which are perfectly suited to ceremonies on an intimate or grand scale.
Where can WE hold our ceremony?
There are endless options for wedding ceremonies at Voewood. Choose from the Music Room, Dining Room or the Main Hall inside, or anywhere in our beautiful formal gardens, woodland or meadowland outside.
What’s included in the price?
The exclusive use of the house and gardens including accommodation for up to 42 guests. Towels, hand soap and all bedding are provided. A team of professional staff will also be on hand to guide you through the planning process and support you during your stay.
Are marquees allowed at Voewood?
Yes, if guest lists are high, marquees are a great option for outside and we have some great traditional and alternative options on our supplier list.
Is Voewood dog-friendly?
Yes, we will happily accept up to three well behaved dogs.
How many cars can be parked at Voewood?
We can accommodate up to 65 cars parked on either side of the driveway. Buses can also access the drive for shuttling guests.
Does Voewood have disabled access?
As a Grade II* listed building, the house currently is not able to accommodate accessibility ramps.
Do you offer house tours?
We run occasional house tours which will need to be arranged by the owner. Please get in touch for more information.
Can anyone come and walk round the house and gardens?
Voewood is not open to the public. Therefore, any requests to visit the house and gardens will need to be agreed by the owner. Please contact us to arrange a tour.
