Events, Retreats & Corporate
With space for up to 120 x seated participants in our big hall (plus an extra 30 if we add the marquee that can attach to the hall), Voewood provides an excellent venue for one-off performances and live events. Each year we host a handful of ticketed, evening events - live music, 'spoken word’, theatrical performances - and more. Interval drinks can be purchased from our bar and snacks can be served. We are known and popular locally for such events and are always open to discuss hosting an event that would be a Voewood fit.
With 17 x bedrooms, sleeping a total of 42, the house is a wonderful venue to host retreats, long weekends, masterclasses. We are open to all sorts of ideas and possibilities. With free wifi throughout and our dedicated house manager on hand to help with anything you might need, we will do all we can to enable your stay to be as stress-free as it is unforgettable.
Make use of all our site has to offer - a magnificent main house, formal gardens, meadow and woodland.
You are encouraged to belong to it all, be enveloped, amused, inspired and above all welcomed by your stay.
There are no red ropes here keeping you back from invaluable paintings or precious collectibles.
EVENTS AT VOEWOOD
Our main hall offers an excellent venue for live, one-off events from music to 'spoken word’ and more. We have historically hosted the late Julian Sands, the actor who performed his Keats & Shelly one man show, OutPost Drive, stunning country/folk rock duo, rock legend, singer-songwriter Wreckless Eric and clown performer Nancy Trotter Landry, to name a few.

With plenty of accommodation, an inspiring choice of gathering spaces and wonderful gardens and grounds, the house comes truly alive when filled with people.
We offer on-site parking for up to 65 x cars. We are located 2 x minutes drive from the bustling market town of Holt and 15 x minutes drive from the spectacular North Norfolk coast.
FOOD & DRINK
From picnics and seven-course tasting menus to pizza trucks and sharing feasts, we’re open to almost anything when it comes to feeding your guests. Choose from our carefully curated list of recommended suppliers or go rogue and find your own incredible caterer. The possibilities are endless.
ACCOMMODATION
When it’s time for bed, we’ve to 17 x uniquely designed bedrooms to fight over.
A combination of doubles and twins, plus 2 x dormitories - one for Girls, one for Boys.
With every bed filled, we can sleep a total of 42.
