Whether you prefer a civil ceremony in the gardens, a formal dinner for 150, a Mad-Hatter's tea party or something entirely different. We’re here to help.
HOw it works
Weddings at Voewood run over two nights and three days.
Midweek: from Tuesday to Thursday. Weekends: from Friday to Sunday afternoon.
Voewood sleeps 42 x people in total across 15 x unique bedrooms and 2 x fabulous dormitories. (See Gallery of Rooms).
We’re here to help. We have a list of knock-out suppliers of all kinds, from marquee hire to excellent chefs and caterers, stylists, planners and photographers.
The house is yours, both as a home-away-from-home and a blank canvas.
We are open to other options for hiring Voewood but experience has shown us that the two night model works really well. It gives time for you and your guests to settle in and make yourself at home.

YOUR CEREMONY
Voewood is licensed for civil ceremonies in the Music Room, Dining Room and Main Hall to accommodate up to 120 x guests.
Outside there are beautiful locations in the gardens & grounds for larger gatherings or more intimate celebrations.

FOOD & DRINK
From picnics to 7 x course tasting menus - to pizza trucks and sharing feasts, we’re open to almost anything when it comes to feeding your guests.
Our main hall seats 120. This can be extended to a total of 150 if required, by the addition of our marquee that attaches to the main hall and thereby expands the seating by another 30.
ACCOMMODATION
When it’s time for bed, we’ve got 17 x uniquely designed bedrooms to accommodate all sorts of characters.
Our bedrooms comprise a mix of doubles and twin rooms plus two flamboyant dormitories, one sleeping 6, the other 7. (See Gallery of Rooms)
LATE NIGHT
Party into the night in our private nightclub in the cellar, complete with bar, dance space and lounging area.
Simon Finch, owner of Voewood writes - “Pink Lloyds Nightclub was our lockdown project. During music festivals at Voewood, a regular visitor was the legendary Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour The house was commissioned by a family called Lloyd in 1903. The nightclub has a distinctly sixties /seventies vibe. So in honour of David Gilmour and the Lloyd family the club had to be called Pink Lloyds!”

HOW LONG DOES WEEKEND HIRE LAST?
Check-in for weekend weddings is at midday on Friday and check-out is at 2 pm on Sunday.
HOW LONG DOES MID-WEEK HIRE LAST?
Mid-week wedding hire at Voewood runs from midday on Tuesday to midday on Thursday.
CAN I USE MY OWN CATERER?
Yes! There’s no pressure to use our recommended suppliers. Choose caterers and suppliers to suit your unique vision. However, there will be a small charge for hiring your own caterers.
Do you charge corkage?
There is no corkage charge for weddings at Voewood.
How many people does voewood accommodate?
The house sleeps 42 people in 17 bedrooms, including two dormitories. Get in touch for a specific breakdown of each of our rooms.
Where can WE hold our ceremony?
There are endless options for wedding ceremonies at Voewood. Choose from the Music Room, Dining Room or the Main Hall inside, or anywhere in our beautiful formal gardens, woodland or meadowland outside.
